The era of claiming that it added credibilty to own a website is like boasting about your dead lion in your lounge to your neighbor who has a live bull terrier. When the burglers come for a visit, they will probably steal your lion too. So what if you have a website? What is the big deal? There IS no big deal.

The act of owning a website is not only going to take a nice chump from your thousands but is ALSO going to require some brain time as you suddenly have to ask AND answer questions that you previously didn't even think existed! You know, the usual... stuff like "flash", "slideshow", "online contact"... the list is quite honestly endless.

And besides, God made them plenty, web designers come "a dime a dozen", and they are some of the smoothest talkers that God allowed to inhabit the same Earth as the rest of the Human Race, ;)...

Website design & redesign trends in South Africa

The arena of web design paints a very diverse picture in our beloved South Africa. If one were to look at the visualization of web design prices using a heat map, with the most expensive web design prices being red hot and the least being icy cold blue, then we could imagine deep blue colors at the perimeter of the country getting redder torwards the central and finally blazing red amber right at center slightly up north. You may liken it to a mountain with the peak being around the Gauteng Province.

On a GDP scale it makes sense for the Gauteng Web Designers to charge more, after all, it IS the Industrial and Economic Capital of the entire country with some stipulation that the Gauteng Province alone, especially Johannesburg, has higher GDP than any other full country in Africa!
